
ATLANTA, Ga. – December 13, 2007 – The Gospel Music Channel (GMC) gives fans a weekly dose of everything Christian/gospel music with
its new weekly primetime series The Kitchen Sink, with new episodes premiering Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). This Sat. Dec.
15, appearances and performances by Byron Cage and debut artist Jake Smith are among the show’s highlights.
Gospel’s favorite praise & worship artist, Cage sings “With All My Might” and “Royalty” from his current CD Live At the Apollo: The Proclamation. New Orleans native Smith has received universal praise for his debut CD Real. He performs the soulful pop song “Get Up” for the Kitchen Sink audience.
Artists scheduled to perform on The Kitchen Sink in the weeks ahead include: DecembeRadio and VaShawn Mitchell (Dec. 22); Jars of Clay and Mr. Del (Jan. 5); Matthew West and Maurette Clarke Brown (Jan. 12).
The Kitchen Sink is an hour-long music performance, news, entertainment and variety program and is the only national show of its kind featuring Christian and gospel music. In addition to the live in-studio performances, The Kitchen Sink features lively interviews, world premiere videos, the latest entertainment news and previews, undiscovered new talent, inspiring feature stories and more.
